Well done to both Srinidhi Madhu & Juan-Leonardo Solari who both represented at this weekends round of 10&U Winter Regionals Tours.

Juan-Leonardo travelled down to Deal Tennis Centre in Kent, competing in 2 tight  matches. Both matches involved tie-break sets with Juan-Leonardo unfortunately just coming up short 5-4 4-2 in both. A great learning experience to play in his first Winter Regional Tour even and Juan-Leonardo reflected really well in how he can grow and compete regularly at this level.

Srinidhi played at Redbridge in Essex. After breezing through her 1st round match 4-0 4-0, she played the No.1 seed in the semi finals. In an extremely close match, she persevered from a set down to win 2-4 4-1 10-3. In her last couple of tournaments, Srinidhi has found match tie breaks challenging but having reflected on her experiences, she made sure she started this one with high intensity and maximum focus. A great example of a player growing - well done Srinidhi!

In the final her opponent was not quite as challenging as the semi final, with Srinidhi winning 4-0 4-0 to take the title. This is Srinidhi's 3rd consecutive Grade 3 tournament victory and now she will focus on the Nationals in Norwich.

Well done to both on growing as players and representing us so well.
