11th March 2019

Four 12&U boys represented us this weekend, 3 at the Deal Regional Grade 3 along with Maxime at the National Tennis Centre Surrey County Tour.

Liam Channon,, Kurt Kuka and Sami Sivinov made the trip to Deal in Kent to play in the 12&U Regional Tour. They each played 4 challenging matches over the weekend, Liam, still only 10, continuing his fine form finishing runner up.

Sami and Kurt fought back well after losing their first matches, Sami eventually winning the backwards draw.

All 3 come back to base with great information on how to improve as players in this older age category.

At the National Tennis Centre, Maxime Fery fought in horrendous conditions outside to take the title in the Surrey Winter County Tour event. Despite blowing a gale outside, Maxime used his match intelligence to work the conditions to his advantage winning 4 matches in a row.

Well done to all players, looking forward to seeing you all back on court this week.
